Ill Doyle Ray Hatfield 33°

 

PERSONAL

Doyle Ray Hatfield was born in August of 1952 in Hartford, Alabama. He is the son of the late Doyle T. Hatfield and Lilly J. Hatfield. His primary education was in the Geneva County School System, and he graduated from Geneva County High School in 1970. He majored in Data Processing and minored in Accounting at George C. Wallace State Junior College in Dothan, Alabama.  After spending time in the USN, he continued his education at Columbus State University with a BBA degree in Computer Information Management.  He has a Master of Science degree in Management from Troy University.  He has served as an adjunct professor in Computer Science at the Phenix City Campus of Troy University. He has a total of 45 years of experience in the Computer Information Management field including everything from operations to management.

 

Blue Lodge

In 1985, Doyle was raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason in Stephens Lodge #586 in Manchester, Georgia. He is a perpetual member of five lodges: Stephens Lodge #586 (master 3 times), Rose Hill Lodge #484 (master 2 times), Kimbrough Lodge #118 (master 1 time; merged with Hamilton Lodge #16), Woodbury Lodge #713 (master 3 times; merged with Greenville 321), and West Georgia Daylight Lodge #760. 

 

WB Hatfield served as Master of the 4th Masonic District Convention.  He served as District Deputy to the Grand Master for the 4th Masonic District for eleven years. He has also served as Past Master of Research Lodge #3 several times and Past President of the Valley Association of Past Masters several times.

 

Doyle is currently serving the Grand Lodge of Georgia as the 4th District Board of Relief representative.

 

Scottish Rite

In April, 1986, Doyle became a 32° Scottish Rite Mason and was coroneted, 15 October 2011 as a 33° Mason in the Valley of Columbus, Orient of Georgia working under the A.&A.S.R of Free Masonry for the Southern Jurisdiction.

 

Chapter

Excellent Companion Hatfield was exalted in Darley Chapter #7, RAM, in Columbus, Georgia where he served as Excellent High Priest. Doyle served The Grand Chapter of Georgia on various Committees. He is the recipient of the Order of High Priesthood.  He has worked his way through the chairs of the Order of the High Priesthood, currently serving as Excellent Vice President. Doyle served as Excellent High Priest for the 4th District Chapter of Royal Arch Masons.

 

Cryptic Degrees

Illustrious Companion was Greeted in Hope Council #4, R&SM, and served as Illustrious Master. Doyle served The Grand Council of Georgia on various Committees. He is the recipient of the Order of the Silver Trowel. He served as the Illustrious Master of the 4th District Council Convention.

 

Chivalric Orders and Knighthood

Doyle was knighted in St Aldermar Commandery #3, KT, and served Commander of St. Aldermar #3.  Doyle received the Knight Crusaders of the Cross degree.  He was elected and served through the Knight Crusaders of the Cross degree team, served as Knight Crusader of the East.  Doyle was elected Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Georgia in 2016.
